Version 1.3 was mostly about S-Template injection, low-level changes and fixes.

S-Template Injection

  • Safer and precise media imports.
  • New text system
  • New, more optimized rendering system.

Bug Fixes

  • Bucket (Flood fill) crash fix.

Limit Increases

  • 10,000 x 10,000 Tile map size support (that makes 100 million tiles, wow.)
  • Tile ID range increased to 150. (previously 100)
  • Amount of different textures used increased to 60. (previously 40)
  • Tile ID's with pre-determined colors increased to 60. (previously 20)
  • Texture
  • Eraser tools texture is back.
  • New placeholder texture.

Other

  • More safety procedures.
  • Some changes in texts/how they rendered.
  • UTF8 support.
  • Some low-level changes.
  • Window style now changes immediately instead of waiting for restart.
  • New EULA that states tile maps made is your work and property, not mine.
  • Outline added to texts on tiles for better visibility. (it's kept as solid for perfomance)
  • Camera zoom is finally fixed. Now it zooms in or out where your cursor is.
  • Texts in editor is merged rather render separately like cameraX and cameraY.
  • Instead of putting a rectangle behind, texts in editor now have outline.
